Gate 5, Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek includes the demolition and replacement of a Gatehouse and the addition of a Gatehouse Canopy, an Overwatch Defensive firing position and an emergency power backup generator. The project also incorporates perimeter hardened fencing and installation of new roadways that incorporate five level K12 pop up active barriers, Bollards and twelve remote operated drop arm gates. The new gatehouses incorporated Level III bullet resistant windows, doors, and frames.
